How does Scroll differ from Linea and ZKsync Era?
All three are zkEVM rollups, but they differ on the equivalence level and roadmap. Scroll targets Type-2 EVM equivalence with fully open-source proving. Linea is also Type-2 but tightly integrated with the ConsenSys stack. ZKsync Era uses a custom VM with its own compiler pipeline (LLVM-based) that is EVM-compatible but not strictly bytecode-equivalent.
Is Scroll decentralized?
