Bitget Wallet CardBitget Wallet Card Review: 2%–3% assetback, regional fees and caps
Bitget Wallet Card is a prepaid card offering 2% base assetback and 3% for qualifying users, with monthly caps. It can suit eligible everyday spenders who want asset rewards without annual or monthly fees. The main catch is the 1.7% non-USD fee in APAC, EEA, selected Latin American countries and South Africa, which reduces the value of those rewards.

Pros & Cons
How the Bitget Wallet Card works
Bitget Wallet Card is a prepaid payment card. You top up a card balance to spend, and eligible purchases earn assetback. The practical decision is whether those rewards justify the fees and balance restrictions in your market.
The same card name covers different regional programmes. APAC offers virtual and physical cards. Bangladesh, EEA, the selected Latin American countries and South Africa offer virtual cards only. Google Pay is supported in APAC and Bangladesh; Apple Pay is unavailable in those programmes.
In APAC and Bangladesh, unused top-ups cannot be withdrawn directly back to the wallet. Load an amount you expect to spend rather than treating the card balance as freely accessible wallet funds.
Who should choose it, and who should skip it
The card can suit eligible residents whose ordinary purchases earn assetback and whose spending naturally meets a published Booster threshold. It is especially relevant if you want a choice of reward assets and do not want an annual or monthly card fee.
It is less compelling if most of your spending falls into excluded categories or if you expect uncapped rewards. Frequent non-USD spending in APAC, EEA, selected Latin American countries and South Africa also reduces the reward advantage.
Choose the APAC physical card only if you have a use for it that justifies the US$49 application fee. Readers in Bangladesh, EEA, selected Latin American countries and South Africa who need a physical card should consider another option.
The 3% Booster: eligible monthly spending matters
The base assetback rate is 2%. The Booster raises it to 3% on all eligible purchases in the qualifying month, subject to the monthly cap. The threshold is eligible spending, so purchases in excluded categories do not help you earn rewards.
New cardholders receive 3% for their first calendar month and the next. A calendar-month welcome period is worth planning around; it is not described as two full months measured from the day you join.
Do not spend extra just to qualify. The useful test is whether purchases you already intend to make reach the threshold in your market.
| Market | Eligible monthly spending for 3% Booster |
|---|---|
| Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and Australia | At least US$200 |
| EEA | At least US$200 |
| Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines | At least US$100 |
| Selected Latin American countries | At least US$100 |
Assetback choices, caps and excluded purchases
Assetback options include WBTC, XAUT, NVDAX, TSLAX, GOOGLX, SPYX and USDC, spanning tokenized Bitcoin, gold, stocks and USDC. You can change the selected reward asset once per calendar month, so make the choice before the spending you want it to reward.
Monthly caps apply to base assetback, Booster rewards and welcome rewards. The headline percentage should therefore be treated as a rate on qualifying spending within the cap, rather than an unlimited return on everything you buy.
Rent, financial services, gambling and cash-like transactions earn no assetback. If these account for much of your card spending, the advertised percentage will be less useful to you.
Bangladesh and Pakistan also have a capped 3% reward for qualifying users. The US$100 and US$200 spending thresholds above apply only to their named markets.
Fees and limits by market
No annual or monthly card fee applies across the covered markets. Usage costs still matter: APAC crypto-to-fiat conversion costs 0.05%–0.2%, while non-USD spending attracts a 1.7% FX fee in APAC, EEA, the selected Latin American countries and South Africa.
In APAC, USD transactions have no FX fee. Non-USD transactions use Visa’s real-time exchange rate, with fees deducted when processed. A zero FX fee on a USD purchase does not remove the separate APAC conversion charge.
Top-ups are free in Bangladesh, Pakistan, EEA, the selected Latin American countries and South Africa, with applicable gas fees. APAC allows up to US$200,000 per top-up; Bangladesh has a US$1 minimum top-up.
APAC physical-card users outside Singapore can withdraw up to US$3,000 per ATM transaction, US$10,000 daily and US$100,000 monthly. Withdrawal counts are capped at 20 daily and 30 monthly.

Three trade-offs to weigh before applying
The rewards make more sense when you separate the gross earning rate from the costs of using the card. Card format and access to the balance also affect whether it fits your routine.
One card, different regional programmes
Bitget Wallet Card has one named variant, but market differences are substantial enough to decide whether it fits. The APAC group below covers Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Thailand and the Philippines.
The selected Latin American countries are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. Coverage does not mean the programme is available throughout Latin America.

|---|---|---|
| Nine APAC markets | Visa | Virtual or physical card users; US$50,000 daily spending limit, with conversion and non-USD fees |
| Bangladesh | Visa | Virtual-card spending; US$20,000 daily limit and US$1 minimum top-up; no cash withdrawals |

Should you apply for the Bitget Wallet Card?
Bitget Wallet Card can be a good fit if you are eligible, want asset rewards and can qualify through spending you would make anyway. The absence of annual and monthly fees helps, but it does not make every transaction inexpensive.
Base the decision on your market’s card format, fees and Booster rules. If you need unrestricted access to unused top-ups in APAC or Bangladesh, a physical card in a virtual-only market, or rewards on excluded purchases, choose a card that better matches those needs.
